We had walked past La Alden a number of times whilst in Mendoza, and on our last day we decided to try it out for lunch.I am so glad we did!Not only does the restaurant have a lovely atmosphere, it has welcoming staff who were friendly and helpful with the menu.We ordered the bife de chorizo, how could we not, and boy, was it good. We had it cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection. It was tender and oh so tasty!We had a side of fries and a really nice salad as well, the salad was huge, it was an excellent portion.We also enjoyed a bottle of wine, they have a great wine selection at reasonable prices.We went on to have many steaks whilst in Argentina, but none compared to the one we had at La Aldea, highly recommended!
